Yes, Heart of the Sunrise, from Fragile.

Put this on as Chris Squire, who just passed away, was one of my bass guitar heroes growing up. He was a great inspiration and real bass innovator.

I always loved the music on this album but hated the production. I must say that for the first time ever, listening to this through my Emo DAC, XPA 1Ls, and GE T7s, the production actually sounds pretty good. Not thin and muffled as I remembered it over the years. The Squire's Rickenbacker bottom end actually comes through pretty well. In past listens through lesser gear, the bottom was generally lost on this recording. I have the same Rick, actually, so I know its sound quite well.

Are you using the XMC-1 too? If you don't mind my asking?
Sometimes really great, revealing equipment will make a lousy song sound really lousy, unlistenable.
I am glad this is going the other way for you!
