Wow, howsbayou!!!

THAT is an amazing array of NICE, SPORTY cars you have driven and owned!!!! Almost don't need an audio system to keep you entertained!

I've looked at the Tesla's....driven the Z3/4's, rode in the old Morgan 2 seaters.... nice rides!!!!!

Happy driving!!! :)

Nice selection! When I was a kid (17 maybe) my Dad went on a business trip with his boss, who left his 1970 XKE in our driveway and gave me the keys. That was the start of my affliction. (Listening to a pair of DQ-10's on Citation electronics when I was 19 was the start of the other affliction ... funny how both are so easily identified.) The latest incarnation of that Jag, the F-Type, is a fantastic car too.

One of my weekly breakfast buddies drives a P90D with all the stuff. Not my cup of tea (I'm a sports car guy), but what an amazing car in so many ways. I believe his does 0-60 with Ludicrous mode in 2.7 sec.

So, sport car guys, money no object, what would it be?? McLaren? Lamborghini? Ferrari? Porsche turbo? Mercedes AMG? BMW M? Dodge Viper? Corvette ZR1?

I'd consider a Tesla P90D ludicrous. I would. Not just the acceleration. The whole Tesla S line is compared favorably to BMW and Mercedes lines. If I could get past the driving range and the price tag....

I really like the combo of Tesla model S and Boxter S. The Tesla is not a sports car, but with 4000 pound battery low to the ground, it handles surprisingly well. Still, on a beautiful day with Porsche top down, nice exhaust sound, and a good winding road.
This reminds me of an actual segue from GET speakers and sports cars...exhaust note! I think a good part of the appeal old British cars was the exhaust note. Aston Martin, Jaguar, MG, Austin Healey all had it.

You're right on, howsbayou!

Part of the of the fun is that sweet engine/exhaust sound!!!! Loved the deep exhaust note of the SS 396 with the 4 barrel sucking gobs of air, just loved the throaty sound of the Buick GN exhaust combined with the turbo growl...

And Ferrari's winding up... music to my ears!

REAL Sports cars ... here's mine ...

Price no object: Pagani Huayra ... or maybe a Koenigsegg Agera R (Ferrari and Lamborghini are so ordinary).

OK, sorry. Price no object but not ridiculous: McClaren 570GT looks pretty sweet to me. So does an Audi R8 V10 Plus or an AMG GT-S

Maybe I could afford one someday (is that a price category?): Porsche 911 Carrera S4 .... Jaguar F-Type R ... Acura NSX

Maybe I could buy one now (OK, so I'm making up categories): Nissan GT-R ... Corvette Grand Sport or Z06

Affordable (under $40K?): Mazda Miata ... Mustang GT ... Subaru BRZ ... Genesis Coupe
