Bro Rick, the speed thing, complaint from the Mrs. is universal I think!!!! EXCEPT when she is driving, then it is OK.
Bro T. I would certainly drive a Lexus IF I could, good one.
The car I really love, Nissan 350Z!!!!
But these days I select cars by a different standard than ever before! Can I get in and out easily????????
Damn, getting older is NO FUN!!!! I like them high enough, but not too high, where I can slid in and out, not get down and not climb up!!!!
Ha Ha (better to laugh than cry!!!!!)
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Yeah! I'm with you Wayne, I had a 2003 350Z (intro year) and a 2009 370Z (also intro year). Silver 350 and gray 370. Huge fun - no good in the winter though, at all. One of the last great 2 seater affordable sports cars out there today.

SO, who's taken their "audiophile" needs to upgrading their car/truck audio???

I never changed the stock audio system in the Buick GN... just had to keep the interior stock, limited my playing around to engine mod's.

BUT, in my current ride (a Ford Edge CUV that came with the premium audio system), I tolerated what seemed to me overly bright treble, so-so bass for awhile, then changed out the speakers to Alpines with silk dome tweeters, and the sub to a Boston Acoustics unit and upgraded amp... much better. (Hadn't thought of doing what Moderator Dude said on a recent post that he'd seen Invisa 525's installed in cars/trucks... that would be cool!)

Who's doin'/tried what to get better kicks from their rides?

Happy riding and listening!

Rick

Used to have a thing for old British sports cars, so had a number of them restored...54 Morgan 4 seater, 67 Jag XKE coupe, 64 Austin Healey 3000. Then came Miata, and current sports cars came back for me. After that Mercedes 350 SLK, BMW Z3, then Porsche Boxster. Now drive 2013 Porsche Boxster S, and 2013 Tesla Model S 85. The Tesla isn't the latest with ludicrous mode 0-60 in 2.3 secs, but I've driven one, and it's too much. Between cars and GET home theater, feeling really fortunate.
