I don't know what is in the air where you guys are, but it seems there is some smoke of some sort of weed!!!!

Well, enjoy your hot tub in the middle of your home theater.

Good thing I live in a humid country, being that I am a bass head!!!!

God Bless,
Wayne

I sent back the above mentioned EXPENSIVE cables, in exchange for more expensive ones probably. (MO snake oil!!!!)

I FINALLY got a tent!!!! Amazon finally got it to me. Well, it took me a LONG time to pull the trigger, they finally marked down the Kelty Trail Ridge 6 around $250 (older, discontinued model) so I got it, even though my shipper charged me, $200 to ship it from CA to Thailand!!!! Not kidding!!! Biggish and weighs 16 pounds, shipping weight. Anyway, it got here last night, about 3 days after the rains hit!!! YES, been dry for 5 months around here, perfect camping weather, cooler and dry and now I gets my tent, RAIN STORMS and that always means high winds around here too.
Is anybody else into camping??? We can talk camping anytime you want. I will be out in the front yard in my tent, but online. ha ha
)Oh, holy moly, update: that $200 shipment just brought me some CDs and BRs and my Cowon Plenue M2 music player with 200 GB mini SD card. Oh boy, we are in for some fun now!!!!

COCONUT OIL:
I have been reading about the health benefits of coconuts and their products, meat, milk and especially oil. They say it will keep your blood sugars under control, help near diabetic people like me, heart healthy and blood pressure help, etc.
So I got some oil and decided IF it is good for people, it must be good for audio!!!!
So I spread a thin layer (at first, just testing it out you see) on a CD and played it. It spins FASTER, like greased lightening!!! And sounds smoother, even though it is country western, you get a Beach Boys vibe from it, suntan oil feel, Jimmy Buffet and Jack Johnson smoothness and laid back feeling!!!!
This is not snake oil, it is coconut oil, give it a try, my hands are smooth now too!!!
Happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

Hi Wayne,

Thanks for your enlightening report upon the benefits of using coconut oil to improve the output from sluggish CDs. Being able to alter the speed of certain recorded performances in my collection would probably be beneficial -- in both directions!

Your report that coconut oil speeds up the performance has led me to consider the possibility of using axle grease to slow down other performances which I consider to be too sprightly.

A liberal application of axle grease might even bring the entire performance to a stop, which, in some cases, would truly represent an improvement.

Keep up the research and let us know what other useful discoveries come to light.

Best,

Art

Cleaning a record with wood glue...do you think it really works?

D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!
