Just a suggestion! I would definitely plug the T-1's to a good surge protector/line conditioner for insurance purposes.

That's a good idea, just be certain the outlets from which you power anything with amplifiers do not limit current.

I would be sure to listen to the difference with the protector/conditioner in the line - GE suggestions are NOT to plug anything between the wall and the speakers. I found that with 3 different protectors/conditioners, my T1s always went to pot when I inserted one into the system. I now just unplug the speakers when storms come rolling through. If it works for you, use it - it doesn't work in my house.

I am using the Panamax M5300-PM with the T-3's. There is 2 outlets for high current amps. For me I had to protect my invest the best way I can.
