Love my OPPO 105 - would sell a lot of other things before parting with it! Does it all! $300 sound like a little to gain a lot in this business. Don't worry about the time it has been played. I have about 1000 hours on mine - no problems!! Make sure you get the remote!

I finally upgraded to the OPPO 105 yesterday and I connected the HDMI and the RCA analog cables which I purchased the MTI Terminator 2's as well and connected the cables to the Marantaz SR5008 and played a cd and switched back and forth from BLU RAY to CD and I was like WOW!!! This player is truly amazing!! It was like the T-3's came alive! The DAC on the OPPO 105 made a huge difference but I have to say I didn't try playing music with RCA cables connected to the OPPO 103. I traded it in for the OPPO105. So I couldn't compared both players. I am very happy that I went ahead with the upgrade and like you guys said for $300 I can't wrong. You guys were right!!! Thank you for everyone's help.

Sorry I missed your PM the other day. I don't receive any notifications when I get a PM... Anyhow, I'm glad you decided on the 105 and are using the analog interconnects. The internal DACs on the Oppo players are better than those on many receivers (including mine). I'm sure the 105 is noticeably better than the 103 but I'm content for now and have other upgrades that are overdue before an upgraded player. Enjoy your new Oppo and improved sound!
