I did not condemn anything other than your comment. I have experience with both, including the full version for the DIRAC. It absolutely does not "far surpass ARC" in any way that I could ascertain.

I went back and re-read my post, I apologize if I misspoke or was too summary, dogmatic or condemning in my statement.

It is time to say goodbye to this forum.
1. I am too busy to write things carefully enough for this forum. I have more important things to do, IMHO.
2. I no longer own nor have I heard the speakers we are talking about now or will soon be talking about, I am behind the curve.
3.When we started out this forum needed participation, but now it has lots and there are many wonderful guys here who can and do answer everyone's questions now.
I am not looking to be asked to come back, I just want to thank everyone who has helped me and wish everyone all the best and happiest listening and movies.
I will check back from time to time to make sure you guys are keeping it kind and real.

I'm really sorry to hear you say that. I think you have a lot to contribute in general knowledge, reporting on all of the media you watch, and most importantly for setting the tone for the forum! Each morning, I look forward to your posts from Thailand while I slept. I can certainly understand your points and respect your decision but would be remiss if I didn't tell you will be greatly missed. I hope in time you will reconsider or at the very least give us an occasional update.

Oh c'mon Wayne, please don't make a big deal out of this, I apologize if I was too abrupt in my reply. I try hard to prevent summary judgements that readers will take as fact. Especially if they come from one of our most respected participants. That's all this was, not to be taken personally. You have been an active and valued member here for years and I have thanked you many times, as have others, and have never before responded to one of your posts with anything other than respect and gratitude. Please reconsider.

All this rhetoric sounds very familiar. I believe this same scenario played out last night between chris Christie and Marco Rubio. The point is they still respect one another.

I would just say reading back that I don't see EITHER statement from Wayne or Moderator being overly blunt, direct, rude, combative, etc. and would throw my vote in the camp of Wayne hanging around. There's a lot to add in other areas (sources, amps, movies, music) without owning GEt speakers.
