Just curious how it would work out? I cant see spending $250.00 for each of my speakers in my system and having to spend $1000.00 for invisa HTR's. (I have heard the smaller invisas are not good for atmos.)
LR:
Onkyo TX-NR636
Surround System = SSat3 x5
Sub - FF4

Office:
NAD T748 V2
Nearfield System = Aon 2 Mains
SSat3 Surrounds
Sub - FF3

SuperSat 3s are suggested for Atmos height as an on-wall solution, there's actually a pic of that setup on the website Atmos systems page.

The other models of Invisa are fine for Atmos, we just suggest the HTR 7000 for ceilings lower than 9-10 feet to eliminate hot spots.

I have SS3s on the celling for my upstairs near field setup as my "rear" speakers as I do not have a wall very close to my desktop. Seems to work. You speak of a "high on the wall" option. What about mounted directly on the ceiling. I have no problems mounting them there and do not mind the look as the function (for me) is more important than the aesthetics. Any problem putting them on the ceiling using the same ball type mount I am putting them on the wall with? I would assume with everything so sonically balanced it would actually sound quite good. Is my logic sound?

Absolutely correct. I think we refer to them as on-wall or on-ceiling solution for height channels in that section on the website. If you're OK with the aesthetic, they will work great in that setup. Just make sure to keep non-height SuperSats as close to ear level as possible.
