Just curious, did you measure, are you sure the SC-X will not fit? It is small but a wonderful center!!!
Let us know what you decide and how it works out?
Are your Aon3s on stands? Gonna sound wonderful.

Thanks for the follow up. The SC-X will not fit. A little too tall. My Aons si† on a credenza with the center on a pull out shelf just under the TV. I will most likely go with the 3c as it will fit in the current space..Yes i do agree with the magic of the Aons. They replaced my beloved 33 year old ADS L780 and I have not a single regret. The openess of the sound from the Aons just floored me when I first heard them and they still do. I am sure now that the 3c will be just fine. Thanks again for your sage advice.

That will be perfect.

I would also echo that I think you'll really notice a more seamless front stage by replacing the CC. Just cross it over higher (100hz), as recommended.

Either is fine, 100Hz is a compromise if the subwoofer is less than ideally located. The 120Hz setting will allow the maximum playback level, which may not be an issue for you either.
