Here is yet one more idea for you to consider:

If your AV Amp has a "Center Speaker Pre Out" capability, and if you would like independent control of the center channel volume level, then you can consider adding a separate and very inexpensive 2-channel amplifier to your setup to power the center speaker. Connect the AV Amp Center Pre Out to the 2-channel amp and connect your 3C center speaker to the 2-channel amp.

I have this setup for my AV system. I am using a pair of 3Cs as "L/R" Centers" (they sit on a shelf on either side of my TV). With separate center channel volume control, I can easily adjust the center channel level to enhance dialogue, etc.

Thanks for that "out of the box" suggestion. I don't have the capability to set that up but it is certainly interesting.
