Hi guys, I'm the proud owner of Triton Ones for a couple years now.

I've been struggling to audition a pair of beadphones that give that same or similar feeling to the Triton's mids and highs (which all the Tritons possess). I'm not a bass head, especially with headphones.

The closest I've found are the Sennheiser HD 800S's. Everything else so far has sounded too relaxed and laid back in the highs.

Appreciate any advice. Of course I'd welcome a pair of Triton Headphones any day, just let me know now so I don't waste my money on anything else :-)

Em84, from the hints dropped on here it does indeed sound like there MIGHT be some GEt headphones in the works. I don't know anything, just sniffed that out in a few comments by the Moderator Dude. I could easily be wrong.
I have the HiFiMan HE-400 and really like them, they sound similar to me to the Ones. Have you heard that line? Course they are open backed, same as the HD-800s and so they are pretty useless on a plane or train. And at home you can listen to the Ones, so I don't find much use for my headphones.
Let us know what you decide?
Happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

Thanks guys. I had tried Oppo PM-1's and Fitear Togo 334 IEM's and JH Audio 13V2 Pro IEMs. All sounded too smooth for me. All with the HA-1 amp/dac.

I have tried the Audeze LCD-3. Really good but I favoured the HD800S's a bit more only because of better comfort for my oversized ears ! LOL

I will try the HE-400 and some Grado's

Hurry up GET and take my money ! :-)

Any more recommendations to try out please let me know :-)

I'm with you, Em84!!! GEt voicing is addictive, hard to match. Sure hope there's a closed back version in the works... want to be able to hear "that GEt sound" walking, travelling, in airplanes, in the morning before others wake up, etc., without disturbing others. You have a bunch of potential customers just waiting and hoping, GEt!
