I have been an audio/video enthusiast since the early 70's. Unfortunately for much of that time I had more enthusiasm than I had money to pursue it. I have made two 120 mile round trip visits to my nearest GoldenEar dealer over the last several months and several weeks ago I placed an order. I took friends with me for each visit and one placed an order just last week for the Triton Two Cinema setup.
I would like to express my appreciation, on behalf of all us, for the time that audio salespersons have spent demonstrating equipment to us over the years with little more than a "thank you and that I may be interested in the future". I have always been met with enthusiasm and none more so that with the Tritons. My Triton representative at Century Stereo, in Saratoga Ca., like most audio/video sales people I have met, is a true enthusiast. The Tritons seems to have given your dealers something their really proud of, to show off and to be excited about.
I think the relative affordability and enthusiasm for your product will play a meaningful role in keeping our audio/video specialty dealers going during these hard economic times. All enthusiasts owe a debt of gratitude to the dealers and the men and women of their sales staff that spend countless hours demonstrating equipment for us with little more and a promise that we will think about it.
Once demonstrated the Tritons sell themselves. My Triton rep's patience in demonstrating these beauties, giving me tips to educate my ears as to what I was hearing and what to listen for, not only made me comfortable with making a purchase but also sold me on being a long term customer.
Thank you GoldenEar for a great product. T-minus 4 weeks and counting until delivery. Can't wait!
