I am working on configuring my 5.1.2 system setup -
LG 65" G1
Marantz SR6015
SuperCinema3D Array XL
HTR7000 Surrounds
650 Heights
SuperSub X

The 3D Array XL manual says to set the crossover frequency for LCR to 120Hz. The Marantz defaults the LPF for LFE to 120Hz but it can be set all the way up to 250Hz (120 Hz / 150 Hz / 180 Hz /200 Hz / 250 Hz)

I'm assuming there should be some frequency overlap. What would you recommend setting the LPF for the subwoofer to?

So excited to get it finished up and get to enjoying it!

Thanks!

Hi ditty, As a good starting point, I would recommend setting your Marantz receiver to a crossover frequency of 120 hz for your front speakers (or SuperCinema 3D Array XL) and a crossover of 120 hz for your SuperSub X subwoofer. This will naturally produce some "overlap" where both the sound bar and the subwoofer will play frequencies just above and just below 120hz. (The sound bar will gradually stop playing frequencies below 120 hz, and the subwoofer will gradually stop playing frequencies above 120 hz.) This should work well. Happy Listening!
