I am going to be setting up a Triton 2 System in a smaller space than I have ever had (downsizing)-- My receiver will be an Arcam 360, for surround amplification, and processing, as I need the latest processing capabilities, and only enough power for the center channel, and rear surrounds, for Home Theatre. I am not that interested in surround sound music, as I feel that a correctly set up 2-channel is what I enjoy (Lots of Jazz, etc.) I will be using a Classe CA 150 (150 watts per channel) for the 2 front speakers (Triton 2's) (2-channel), feeding a Ayre X-5 Preamp, with a theater pass through for Home theater. What cable requirements or suggestions do you have for the Triton 2's , Classe to Triton 2's?? I see that bi -wiring is not supported, so I am selling my Aural Symphonics bi-wire cables, and am looking for a replacement. Any suggestions at all, for the entire system will be appreciated. Sounds like a great setup Maxx. We have used cables from Audioquest, Cardas, Kimber and Tributaries at trade shows with excellent results. Because the amplifier is not delivering any real power at low frequencies to the Tritons (the "meat", if you will, of the signal), speaker cable requirements become drastically reduced. No bi-wire, of course, because the speaker is effectively bi-amped. Enjoy!
