Moderator Dude, are the powered Triton amps in standby with some power, or totally off when the light goes out?

Just curious. I always turn the system on in advance of critical listening, and the Triton’s lights stay on for awhile.

When the amps are "asleep" there is just enough power to them to keep the auto-on circuit alive. Perhaps starting a CD or stream 45 minutes or so before serious listening will warm them up enough for your listening.

I can see there is about 6.5W usage when they idle and about 0.6W when off. Sure, I put some music to play before listening. Its not a big hassle. Anyway, T Refs are outstanding. Really, really pleased with them.

The real answer here is to never stop listening to music - else your amps will be hot and your speakers will be cold :)
Triton Two front L/R
SuperSat 50c center
Triton Seven surround L/R
SuperSat 50 surround rear L/R
AVR Arcam AVR-21
Amp Marantz mm7025
Velodyne optimum 10” sealed, back left corner
SuperSub X front-right corner

Purely anecdotal, but with threatening weather forecast here today, I left the system unplugged until I just wanted to, really maybe needed to, play some music, though I usually turn the system on at least one hour prior or ideally leave on.

Spun up an Alison Krauss song I love, but with a cold start. All the warmth in her voice, the sweet background instrument sounds was, well, a bit cold, brittle.

Sorry, cold starts leave me cold, wanting more.
