Guys...I am on the fence about getting the Triton Tower 2. I need some help on choosing a potent receiver.

Looking for something that pays more importance to sound quality as opposed to having every asked feature off the bat. Basically in a nutshell investing more on speakers and looking for a value for money receiver that can dutifully power the speakers. First preference music, then movies.

I have zeroed in on:
Marantz SR6006
Denon AVR-2312

Looking into Pioneer Elite SC-68 A/V Receiver as well (for the integrated DAC) pricey though.

I am open to other makes as well. Anticipating some help. Thanks! :)

+1 to GoldenEar for making the products available in India

Of those two, I think the Marantz is the better sounding piece. The new Pioneer Elite products are also excellent.

Thanks for the thumbs up!

I know I'm a bit late to this party, but have you considered the HK AVR 3600? Ok, now I get that they aren't the most powerful at 80w per channel but the big seller for me are the pre-amp outs. When I'm ready, I plan on getting dedicated front and surround amplifiers which should sound great.

Thata said, the AVR 3600 *is* a great sounding receiver.
