Any opinions about matching speaker cables to the Triton Reference?
Don't want to start a(nother) cables war, but if you have compared and or measured some differences, I would love get some recommendations.

A good question. I was hoping you would get some replies, especially now that Audio Quest is connected to GE. They have so many "flavors" I get intimidated. I've never used any real high dollar speaker cables. Right now I'm using some Knu Koncecpt Krux Kable, 8 AWG, $5.49/ft. I have compared it to some Monoprice 4C/12AWG with 2 conductors paired(9 AWG), Monoprice Monolith (12 AWG), Bluejeans Ten White (10AWG), a China Kimber Kable 12T knock off(8 AWG), and liked the Krux better. The Krux Kable, a helix braid Kimber Kable wanna be, seemed a little smoother, but the difference was small and I wasn't using a blind A/B comparison. On all of the cables I was using locking banana plugs. In the future, I plan to compare some Mogami W3404.

I was running about 6' of cable from my Parasound JC1s to my GE TRs. I think it's great when people list their whole systems but I haven't figured out how to do that without printing it out each time I reply.

Good question. I thought I replied, but I don't see my first response now. I'm also curious about Audio Quest cable recommendations since they are connected with GE now. I've been using DIY cables and think some sound pretty good. Some do sound a little better than others.

Triton Reference will improve with any better cables you use. I was using Harmonic Tech RE9 SE, but have upgraded to Iconoclast SPTPC - amazing! The TRefs deserve good cables and need them. Using cheap cables makes no sense with a great speaker like these. I am about to try the ISO Acoustics Gaia - anyone have experience with them? thanks,

I'm all for better cable and believe makes difference, but I think Isoacoustics Gaia makes bigger different than a great set of cable.
