Hey all, I’m new to the group. Waiting for the installation on T2+’s, xlcenter and two Invisa 700. Thinking of adding two more 700’s.
Will this upgrade the sound experience enough to justify? Oh power is Denon 4500

Hi, Chief68

Great choices in speakers!

You’ve described a 5.1 system I believe. Re adding 2 more Invisa’s, IF the 2 Invisa’s as surrounds are far enough distant to project at ear level, then adding two more as heights would give you Atmos capability, which your Denon receiver supports. I would highly recommend an Atmos set up and a 5.1.2 set up if that will work. Another option is the second pair of Invisa’s as rear surrounds in a 7.1.

I’d look hard at using a second set of Invisa’s as heights to create Atmos. Either way, I’d say two more Invisa’s would benefit your listening experience.

Happy listening!

Thanks Rick,
Haven’t had a sound system since 1984! I had Luxman running magnaplanars with a subwoofer. This is a big step for me and just worried about Denon power after seeing what others on this forum run. Again thanks for the help.
Peace. Jeff

Hey, Jeff

I think your 125 wpc Denon will do just fine! The T2+'s, with their 1,200 watt each bass amps will get a big share of the bass load (I do recommend running LFE to the T2+'s, setting them as large, sub on, and taking maximum advantage of their bass heft). All the bass from the other speakers, set as small, probably with crossovers in the 80 HZ range, will go to the 2+'s

If later you want to give the Denon some amp help with a 2 or 3 channel external amp, that's a fairly simple change to make.

Enjoy your new system! And let us know how it sounds.
