Triton 2 towers, Sat 50 C , two Sat 50s for L/R surrounds. Anthem MRX 700 receiver. Samsung 55" LCD. Oh my, really exceptional. Bought in early October 2011.

The imaging is jaw-dropping, plain and simple. My holy-sh**t moment happened last week watching Disney's new animated version of a Christmas Carol - not even through blu-ray, but just coming over cable. The voice locality was so precise I could sense it moving fluidly, perfectly, just inches across the screen as the characters / camera position moved (scene was during ghost of xmas past, where Scrooge's fiance release him). Viewed from ~15' away. Room is ~20 x 18.

I've never experienced such precise imaging. Really felt like the voice was coming from the exact square inch of the screen where the character's mouth was even while moving. No doubt the Anthem receiver, setup using Anthem's ARC had a hand in it too. And of course the obvious care in the audio engineering of the movie. But the imaging of these beasties is just incredible.

Of course, the rest of the audio experience is stellar too for music and movies. Super happy with these. If you don't have them yet, run, don't walk to your dealer. You won't be sorry.

Congratulations, this is almost the same setup I hope to have in a few months, just swapping the MRX 700 with the 500 and the 50s with two 3s for the surrounds.

Which source do you use as cd/bd player?

Thanks. Right now I have a middle of the road Sony Blu-ray (don't have the model off the top of my head), but I'm shopping for a new one. Thinking of the Oppo BDP-93. Anthem's BR is a possibility, but debating whether I should get one that's 3D enabled, even though right now, my TV isn't. My sony is ok, but slow slow slow and it gets confused.
