On my setup (HK AVR630 with Yamaha M-80 Power Amp), when I listen to just 2-channel stereo, I DO get bass from my subwoofers (Two Velodyne's) for music. So that LFE, in my case, does have bass coming out for music and not just movies

Just so we're clear, that means your bass management is not setup properly (by our prescribed definition, that is), or your receiver does not work right. There is no ".1" in a "2.0" source.

That said, if you like it setup the way it is, enjoy it, that's great. Has nothing to do with you (some people seem to be taking things personally, so I want to make that perfectly clear).
