Thanks Moderator Dude, yes, please, if you would not mind.
I think I have it now, but would not refuse any help.
My Dist. gave me a rough idea what to do, and by hook and crook I got the old one disconnected and out.
Waiting on the replacement.
I am not worried, should be there soon I trust. (No way this is as hard as replacing a ribbon on my Apogee speaker back in the day!)

Not to mention other component manufacturer's names, but I've been waiting about 10 days for a response on an issue I have on a non-GEt component (2nd time after it was supposedly fixed), and still don't have an answer. I'll take GEt's reliability and responses when troubles arise any time!

You've had a run of issues with the home theater. I hope your parts arrive soon and your back to a climate controlled man cave with full surround sound. Don't drink too much coffee before the repair process, you may need a steady hand and calm nerves... :laugh:

It still astounds me how good GET customer service is. I'm really not aware of any company that repairs products outside of warranty like this and with minimal hoops to jump through. Kudos again to GET!

Got it fixed!!!!!
The internet has been down for 4 days, the mail off for a long weekend holiday, but I finally got the parts and got it fixed today.
It was not hard, but a bit more than I expected, both the power supply and crossover modules had to be changed. And I even hot glue gunned the connections again where it was tacked before, or most places.
Works great now.
I am thrilled with my GEt distributor here and with GoldenEar's service and repair!!!!!
You guys stand behind your customers like no other company I have even seen!!!!
My distributor said he would send someone up to do the repair if I could not do it myself.
So we were both happy that I could. He said the GEt failure rate is next to zero, so he was happy to fix the odd thing that does go wrong.
Now I have to get back to some serious listening/watching and ENJOYING!!!!
