GoldenEar Technology Triumphs in CES 2011 Innovations Design and Engineering Competition

(November 9th, 2010 – Stevenson, MD) GoldenEar Technology today announced that it has won two major awards in the prestigious 2011 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Competition. First, and most significantly, the SuperCinema™ 3 Speaker System won the Best of Innovations Award making it number one in its category as the top Home Theater Speaker System in the competition.


The SuperCinema 3 (shown below) is a six-piece loudspeaker system comprised of 4 SuperSat™ 3s, 1 SuperSat 3C - all utilizing GoldenEar’s remarkable High-Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) tweeter – and the 1000 watt ForceField™ 3 Subwoofer. Commenting on this honor, GoldenEar president Sandy Gross said,” We designed the SuperCinema 3 System to be the best sounding, best looking sub/sat system on the market. We are ecstatic that this honor clearly recognizes our success in achieving our goals”.



In addition, GoldenEar also won an Innovations Design and Engineering Award in the High-Performance Audio category for its Triton™ Two tower speaker (shown below). This category focuses on high-end high-performance audio products of all types. The Triton Two is GoldenEar’s statement loudspeaker with a built-in 1200 watt powered subwoofer and, of course, an HVFR™ tweeter. Products entered in this prestigious competition are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics products across 35 product categories.
