Yeah, Bro Rick, I enjoyed that, thanks!!!!!

Funny about those you mention, our family was on a little longer than usual drive recently, in the new car I have the sound, the tunes, so I was playing music I HOPED (against any real hope) my darlings would at least half way like, and they finally asked me to play "easy listening". EASY LISTENING????????
I have a LOT of music on my player, my DAP, but easy listening??????
So I put on Jack Johnson and after him, Ed Sherran. They enjoyed (at least compared to what I would normally play) each.

Thanks, Happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

Just trying to make Bro Rick homesick for Austin, TX.
And let you guys hear some fantastic guitar, many have not heard of Roy Buchanan. Which is a shame. He did this on a Telecaster folks!!!!

Happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

Hey, Wayne!

I had not heard of Roy Buchanan, so thanks for posting this. Good stuff! Found I guess all of his 13 albums on Deezer to stream.

Funny that a guy this talented and prolific escaped my attention up until now. Did a little research, pretty impressive credentials including being named one of 50 best guitarists of all time.

Not homesick for Austin, yet.... lovin' the cooler weather and tasty seafood here in NH. Though I do miss the GEt HT. I'll hear stuff and think, bet that would sound awesome on the GEt's....Oh, well, I know it's waiting for me when I get back to TX. :)

Happy listening!!

Rick

Really enjoy this thread. My contribution for TOnes is the 80's band The Blue Nile- A Walk Across the Rooftops and Hats. Both have aged quite well.

Wow, two oldies but goodies! If you still spin vinyl, seek out Linn's mastering/pressing of the Rooftops album. It sounds really good, too! discogs.com, anyone? :)

Along somewhat similar musical lines, check out Danny Gatton, Tom Principato and the Hellecasters, too!
