If any of you are Qobuz subscribers, they love it when people submit playlists. Perhaps some here could create lists of their favorite tracks to show of GoldenEar speakers. Or just your favorite tracks of the month.

I need to do one myself, and they've asked for one from Sandy (playing his favorite demo tracks). I'll have to get after him about that.

:)

An oldies classic, Patsy Cline's cover of Willie Nelson's "Crazy". Patsy Cline The Definitive Collection has lots of her hits. The gal sure could sing!

If you like soul-jazz and B3 players (Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, Jimmy McGriff, Joey DeFrancesco, et al) you still may not have heard of Hank Marr. He was a master of the B3, easily in the same league as the best. Marr was from Columbus, OH which had a thriving Jazz scene. In later years he taught Jazz studies at Ohio State. For some reason his name isn't a household name, but it should be.

Here's "Greasy Spoon" a most aptly named song if there ever was one. What a groove!

And if you spin vinyl, find the Hank Marr Quartette Live at the Club 502 album (King Records #899, 1964). It grooves from start to finish.
