Ah, the joys, and sometimes tribulations of music streaming.

My internet download speeds suddenly dropped off yesterday from 200 Mbps to sub DSL speeds of 1-2 Mbps. ARRRGH! Songs started dropping in 16 bit FLAC format (can only stream MP3 stuff for now).

My internet service provider is coming Thursday to diagnose what is going on.... guess I'll stick with relearning how to play CD's in the meantime.

I know, I know, that is the way it is here every other day. No way for consistent, reliable streaming.
That is why I rely totally on the shiny discs!!!! OR my own FLAC files, DSD files. AND the quality is there. Luscious quality!
Oh, I am sure IF I had a $15,000 Multi channel DAC, I should expect better quality, would love to try one and know for sure.
BUT as I get older my hearing is not what it was and my bank account is not what it was. SO, I am happy with what I got.
