C'mon Bro Anthem, you are in good company!!!!
We are quite the combo, as you said!!!!

So gentlemen, I have just finished listening to the 5.0 channel SACD of the 2 Grammy award winning SACD of the Shostakovich 5th
Symphony by the surprising Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Led by Honeck, this is a Reference Recording!!!
I will not try to review this here, just HIGHLY recommend it!!!!
Took me back in time to the 1937 debut in Leningrad where the crowd gave over a 30 min standing ovation at the end of this symphony!!!! It is worth that just for the 3rd movement Largo alone. Beautiful!!!!!
Yes, I see Bro Anthem has posted another one before I could even respond. I am a slow pea picker, and can't keep up!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

What a crowd I associate with. A Pea Picker, a Bridge Player, and a POS listener. Quite a combo, aren't we.:side:

Ha, Anthem! The "Bridge Pea POS's"???? Good name for a rock group, or a jazz ensemble?

Works for me. A good combo indeed.

Another afternoon of bridge. Probably not as cultured as you suggest, Wayne. Just a bunch of folks exercising their brains and having fun.

Happy listening, to whatever works for you!

Jeff Coffin Mu'tet/Mutopia(2008) -- Sweet Magnolias (pea)

This would make a great "Pea Pickin" song. If this was playing, I'd stay out in the field all day...nice Song! Bridge anyone?

OMG, Anthem,

Just started streaming this on the GEt's after sampling on a headphone. The sweetest sax I've heard in maybe forever!

Not always a fan of sax, but this....and the piano...

Guess I'll pass on bridge, for a bit.

Good stuff, Anthem!!!

OK, as you know, I can never play your youtube music. But you guys made me look, I finally found it and played this one, and I will admit, that is some tenor sax and piano. The sax player really gets after it almost vocalizing through the sax at one point, never heard that before. Yeah, I could pick my peas to that music! Just my humble opinion, but even though that is not my kind of music, it is a 1000 times more pleasing to my ear than Kenny Burrellllll ever was.
So thanks very much for that one Bro Anthem!!!!
And Bro Rick, a sweet little diddy from Threadgills for you:

And one more Bro Anthem's speed:

Enjoy,
God Bless guys,
Wayne
