Hey Rick:
1) So Anthem, for us Toob Newbies, what did the replacement do for SQ? It provided better transparency, but with better transparency, the flaws within a recording will be more readily exposed; double edged sword so to speak.

2) What happens over time as toobs age? I don't know. But I would rather have an old Toob vs a new Toob any day.

3) I guess I don't detect SQ changes with transistors aging. Maybe should I? Better question is, "Should You Care"? Nahhhhh

Hope this Helps.
Toobs, located somewhere within the audio chain, just sound better than an All Solid-state Setup. At least for now, I'm using an SS Amp and Toob Preamp...i really Like the sound.

2-channel music seems to be occupying most of my time. I haven't watched a blu-ray in 13 months. This morning I removed the GE SCXXL from the front of the tv and put the Decware Zen Torii mk4 in its place. Now it's much easier to access. I have Military Silver/Copper speaker wires with banana plugs connected to the T Refs for easy removal. When not listening to the Torii I connect the AntiCable 3.1 Speaker Wire which is connected to the Emotiva xpa-1's. Listening to different amps is as easy as swapping speaker wires on the T Refs...takes about 15 seconds. Perhaps as the months go by I'll regain interest in HT again, but for now POS is MY CUPPA TEA!

Alex Sipiagin/Mirages (2009) Levitin's Kingdom

The Levitin in Levitin's Kingdom is a Yaroslavl friend, once a trumpeter who made his fortune as a manufacturer of billiard cues and tables, which "he makes with artist quality.
