Another track from Relaxin' with the Miles Davis Quintet. In preparation for the big game today, I'm whipping up a big batch of chili. Maybe I'll take Wayne's advice and throw a bit of coffee in this batch. A double shot of espresso, perhaps...

Anthem, I don't think you'll be disappointed with this one. I was looking for the other 3 albums in the series (Workin', Cookin', and Steamin') and music direct has mono versions available. Does anyone out there know the difference? Can I play a mono record on my normal setup? I ask because I have seen a mono cartridge. Forgive me if this is a silly question. I'm new to this vinyl format.

I'm sure I'll have sins to answer for after my passing, but I don't believe which NFL team I support will be one of them... That said, I will not be cheering for the Steelers or Cowboys today. Unfortunately, the teams that I want to win usually loses. Both teams that I wanted to win yesterday lost, but at least I was able to see Brady whine like a 6 year old and throw a few tantrums!

I'm afraid today will bring disappointment with my Packers. Their offense is looking good but their defense is a bit like single ply toilet paper. On top of that, Dallas has the best line in the NFL. I anticipate a big day on the ground and in the air for Dallas. Hopefully it will be an exciting shootout that comes down to the last possession. That's the only way I see the Packers getting the win, along with A number of rookie mistakes by Prescott.
