John Coltrane / Coltrane's Sound (1964) -- 26-2

Again, something new this afternoon. Not bad, certainly not reference, but not bad.

T Cobe: ahh the dreaded leg day. Once upon a time I use to welcome leg day (actually looked forward to it) not so much anymore...I feel your pain.

130 push-ups, back and biceps work ... good jobs, Anthem and T Cobe!

I just got a "congratulations" from Fitbit that I had earned the New Zealand Award for having recorded 990 miles walked while wearing the watch in the last year. 990 miles is the distance coast to coast in New Zealand. I was pretty impressed until I realized that is an average of just 2.7 miles per day. ;) Oh, well.

Keep it up! And thanks for the posts!

I've been re-getting my "GEt fix" since getting back from NY. Today it's been playing Brooks and Dunn's #1's and Then Some. Neon Moon, My Maria, Believe, etc. at 90 ish db's. OOOH, MY!!! Bass that just shakes my breastbone, not a hint of treble harshness, voicing so perfect. Concert quality or better.

As Wayne said in a post about his T1's, I've been looking all my life for speakers that could do this!!!! Goosebumps, shivers. Pure shock and awe.

Thank you, GEt, for paying such attention to what matters in SQ!! I just LOVE my GEt's!

Edit add: I just finished listening to If You See Him with Reba MCentire also. WOW.

Happy listening!

Rick

Side 2, same record. The level of detail in the bass of this trio is truly phenomenal! overall, it is a pretty laid back album. Listening all the way through was very relaxing.

Anthem, the part I hate most about leg day are the days following the work out. Hobbling around for days in pain is not fun, the workout itself is.

Rick, that is a lot of miles! 2.7 miles a day is more than many get. Nice work!

Cheers,

T Cobe

Bros Anthem, Rick and T. I am impressed with all your physical workouts!!!
2.7 miles, well, I do about that in km per day, ha ha.
And 130 push ups, well I pull up my pants that many times a day (yeah, the salad is working), does that count?
God bless,
Wayne

You bet it counts, Wayne! I'm glad to hear that you are making the necessary lifestyle changes following a cardiac event to prevent future occurrences. Too many people do not make those changes. So a BIG kudos to you for having the strength and determination to make a change!

Cheers,
