Hey Guys,
Heading out tomorrow morning to Malaysia, got 4 weeks of work headed my way. K. L. then S'pore, Mumbai and then to Jakarta, Indonesia.
I am VERY thankful for work, and income. Just a bummer than my dear wife has to oversee the finishing up of our house.
Good listening guys,
God Bless,
Wayne

BUMMER... my Primaluna Preamp was suppose to arrive yesterday. Found out the shipment was involved in a train derailment and won't be here until Oct 31...oh well...life goes on.
In the meantime I've been listening to (first play)

Richard Elliot - In the Zone (2011 Mack)

Great CD throughout... not one cheesy track. If I had to pick a favorite, probably would be BRING IT followed by IN THE ZONE.
Enough chitchat, I'm ready for some Candy.....D.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Starting off another work week...warm today with a good chance of rain this evening.
Currently listening to :

Gerald Alright/Norman Brown - 24/7 (2012 Concord)

Gerald/ alto, tenor & baritone sax & Norman on guitar. Favorite track : YES I CAN. Very enjoyable CD. On solid-state equipment Gerald's sax can sound stressed (I hope & pray my new tube preamp will help this situation).

Wayne, ya hanging in there?

Lou Reed dies at 71 (RIP)

R I P indeed Lou Reed!!!!

Thanks Bro Anthem, I am hanging in there.
I do hope and pray your new pre-amp will tame those nasties from your house full of sax!!!! Not sure it can, if it is on the recording, then you would want your equipment to play what is recorded faithfully. Of Course, MUSICALLY.
PLEASE report in and let us know, when you get it and how it sounds.

I am guest lecturer at a new multi, multi million dollar training facility this week. This company lost a rig in the Gulf of Mexico 2 years ago, you might have heard about it.
Anyway, I start off my training, am going on and writing a formula on their beautiful whiteboard, using the red marker laying there, and when time comes to erase it, it will not erase. It was a PERMANENT MARKER someone had left lying there!!!!!
Monday mornings, HATE em!!!!! BUT the alternative is worse.

God Bless, Wayne

RIP indeed. Strange how I was just listening to the velvet underground and Nico just a few days ago. Oh well!

I am listening to an album I have not listened to in a long time. I am "rediscovering" this album and I now see how wonderful it is as the music streams through my Tritons: "How the west was won" by Led Zeppelin. Just finished listening to "stairway to heaven" Wow! Just WOW!
