What are we listening to on this fine Tuesday morning?

Spyro Gyra - Heart of the Night (1996 GRP)

Lot of great tracks on this cd...Westward Moon / Midnight / Believe / Playtime (my favorite)
Seems as though these guys have been around forever... like the Rolling Stones. They keep plugging along...no end in sight?

Brother Wayne, Santhosh, have a great night/day.

Late afternoon, I have a hankering for a little more Spyro
Currently playing :

Spyro Gyra - The Deep End (2004 Heads Up)

Notable tracks include Soburg Sam, Chippewa Street and Monsoon. Monsoon gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it. Give it a listen...I think you'll love it. ;)
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Anthem, you have one heavily visited thread (based on the page views)! However, it seems that the only contributors are for the most part limited to just 3 people! Thanks for continuing to share!
Anyway, I have just finished listening to Rene Marie's "Live at Jazz Standard" and wanted to share that this is one wonderful album sung by a woman with a beautiful voice!

Thanks Anthem and Santhosh for keeping this great discussion going and interesting.
Sorry I am not contributing much.
Here is a recommendation, even though I am not currently playing it, I would if I had not lost the disc.
(Don't loan out your music, you may never get it back).
Van Morrison, "Hymns to the Silence"
Bro Anthem, you are a morning guy, this is morning music. And some great praise here. Get past the first song, "Professional Jealousy" which I don't like at all, then there are 2 discs of great, uplifting music here.
I used to listen to this in the morning, in Kuwait, when I was there without my family, the fires were burning in the oilfields, DREARY land, DREARY time, it lifted me up. Especially "Like a Full Force Gale".
Blessings,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.
