Well polished album, with great vocals and beautifully played instruments by the blind couple: Amadou & Mariam - "Welcome to Mali". Listen to this one guys, it shines!

Tuesday morning and I'm ready for some "in your face" sax
Currently playing :

Richard Elliot - Metro Blue (2005 Artizen)

Richard on tenor sax & Rick Braun plays trumpet. This is not lullaby music. Let's kick our heels up and have a good time.

Santhosh I tracked Amadou & Mariam/Welcome to Mali...was partial to Djama...sounds interesting.

Brother Wayne you're one day closer to seeing your family and progress on your house. I pray all is well.
Do you talk to your wife daily?
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Hi Guys,
Thanks Anthem for the thoughts.
Glad you and Santhosh are enjoying the tunes.
On TV they are showing a highly advanced prison with 50 robots doing the work of lots of prisoners, huh???????
Then, coming up, a discovery channel show on can Mars support life????????
And then, I am expecting a special on IS THERE INTELLIGENT LIFE IN WASHINGTON, DC????????

Thanks for asking Bro Anthem, technology is a wonderful thing. I get to say good morning by Facebook chat to my wife every morning, a coupla short chats during the day, answer any questions about our house. Then a chat by skype video chat every night. Love this woman, love to see and talk to her!!!!
I even get an email every day from my 92 year old Dad in OKLA.
Thank God for the internet.
God bless, keep in touch,
Wayne
(that's Moe up on the handrail)
God bless the child that's got his own.

Hey Wayne:

IS THERE INTELLIGENT LIFE IN WASHINGTON, DC????? NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!
Glad to see your dad's still living and that you-all get along....email everyday... wow.
My dad is 82 and lives in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He has never embraced technology. We chat every couple months by phone.
Looks like Moe, Larry& Curly are doing a fine job on the house.

Later Brother

I am listening to an intimate, album that unfolds right in front of me. The musician is playing live, with the acoustics of the old hall clearly reverberating on this disc. This album really brings the advantage of owning goldenear speakers to the fore as it is such a LIVE experience.

Neil Young: Live at Massey Hall, 1971

Hump Day 10/02/13
Don't have a cow, kids. Brother Anthem is listening to something a little different this morning.

Steely Dan - Gold (1991 MCA)

All good tracks except "Bodhisattva (Live)...can live without. Wish "rikki don't lose that number" was on this one.
