D T,
I really don't like disagreeing with you or anyone, but I think your assumption is wrong concerning
this Pro Bowl which I am watching now.
You must be assuming there is such a thing as too much football, which I don't believe is possible.
Ha ha
So long Charles Woodson, you will be missed!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Thanks, Roman! I have upgraded my car stereos in the past. My go to brand was JL Audio but I'll check out Hertz Audison. I've considered upgrading my separates in my current car. Happy listening!

Cheers,

Wayne,

I agree, there's never enough Football. It's my favorite and only sport that I watch on television. I've always wished the seasons were longer, even if each team only played every other week. It would be great to stretch out the season. Maybe then Eddie Lacy would have less time to put on a winter coat...

Cheers,

T Cobe

P.S. I wish Woodson had never left Green Bay! I've been missing him for several years already!

Okay, this one is a swing and a miss. While Jack Johnson's On and On was clearly better on vinyl, the opposite is true of his Brushfire Fairytales. I recently picked up a 180g vinyl version from Everloving Records and the CD version is much better. With the success of On and On, I had high hopes for this one.

Everything on this album sounds veiled. The vocals are muddy and instruments are harder to pick out. There is also a significant amount of static. There are some undulations in the surface of the vinyl on one side. There doesn't appear to be a discernible impact but where is the QC? Yes, I did give it a thorough cleaning prior to playing it the first time.

A lot of the records I have purchased seem to lack QC. I guess I'm not sure if this has been a historic problem that has plagued vinyl or if the resurgence and overwhelming demand has manufacturers out to make a quick buck with ancient equipment and poorly trained professionals. One thing is for sure, the reliability of this format is vastly inferior to CDs.

Cheers,

T Cobe

A sweet set of tunes. It's easy to see why Coltranes sax is so heavily revered...the man can play.

John Coltrane / Coltrane Prestige (1957) -- Chronic Blues.
I'm sure glad I'm not into football. My thing is MMA, Strongman competition's, and American Ninja.
Baseball...but only when the KC Royals play.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

I've had some luck with Alpine speakers with silk dome tweeters and Boston Acoustic subwoofers also.

Another niche for Goldenear?? I'd LOVE to have the option of installing Goldenear car speakers in my vehicle, and have that golden sound available wherever I travelled!
