Holy Moly T Cobe,
Yeah, you are right, just call it somethin' else.
Turkey? Kidney beans AND black beans?????
Even then, that could be good ifin you put enough Jalapeno peppers in it and serve it over Fritos with grated cheddar cheese and some chopped onions on top!
Don't get me started. Makin' me hungry now.
Enjoy, as always, to each his own. (I knew this agreein' on stuff thing was not gonna last long!!!!)
God Bless,
Wayne

No Wayne, I think we agree, this is no way to make a chili. Fritos, jalapeƱos, cheese, and onions on top do sound better but that would defeat the purpose. Maybe I'll head out and get some fresh chilies to put in it. If it can't taste like a man's chili, at least it can burn like one!

Cheers,

T Cobe

You guy's are cracking me up!!!! I got on the thread to tell about an SACD I just listened to and found a Chili debate:) I'm a Chili head, I could go on forever about it and yes also a Texan!!

Anyway I just received a copy of Madman across the Water on a SACD 5.1. WOW what a sonic improvement and treat. I have the MFSL version and there is no comparison. The SACD in 5.1 is like hearing it for the 1st time with a big thick shroud removed. The detail of instruments is very noticeable. Sound stage jumps open with the rear channels. The rears seem part of the front sound stage on several tracks. The mix is very well done. It is Its a good example of the dynamic range improvement over a CD. I bought it through HDTracks.

Enjoy!!

P.S. there a re NO beans in Chili

Thursday morning...listening to Brian Bromberg/Jaco (2006) -- Three Views of a Secret.

T Cobe: I've never been to Nebraska. I order my GE gear through Custom Electronics of Omaha via phone, but have never stepped foot in the state.

Splash: I like beans in my chili. P.S. (Pretty Stinky)... Makes for a very entertaining weekend.
