Sorry, when I didn't get any offers, I gave it to my grandson and he is using it in his system and doesn't want to part with it.

I'm curious. Do you notice a big difference in the sound between the SC XXL and the SC Ref?

Thinking back to when I first installed the new speaker, I recall that it sounded better overall with a fuller and deeper sound. However, whether it was worth the replacement cost is harder to quantify. For me, the moderate increase in quality was worth it, but it wasn't a huge difference. I don't think my wife noticed it!
It did sound better with my Triton Reference speakers; and if you have them, then I would recommend the Reference Center. However, the XXL had a very good sound and if you can get one in good condition, it will be a great speaker I'm sure.

I've been debating for a while whether to upgrade my SC XXL. I keep striving for better clarity. Adding an absorption pad under my center helped a lot. It sits on top of a wooden cabinet that holds the equipment. It's about 2 feet deep with about a foot of flat space behind the center. The TV is above it. I was hoping to move to a space where I could put 3 TRs behind an AT screen, but not sure if/when that will happen. My next experiment will be to put a subwoofer with high level inputs under the center and run that channel as large. I guess I should ask if anyone on this forum has tried that? I'm also in the process of upgrading my AVR/Processor.

Tritons with built in subs are basically bookshelves on top of the subwoofer as a stand. I've been hoping that GE would come out with a center with a built in sub that would fit better under a TV, with no added stand. One problem is how tall to make it. I have my front three tweeters in a horizontal line, with the TV above. Not everybody might like their TV that high.
