HI Gang,

Three items:

1. We completed our move from Johnson City to Raleigh at the end of May. Still settling in. Moved to be with our daughter and her family, including our only grandchild, now 15.5 and a sophomore in high school. Very good baseball player and excellent student.

2. I just had triple bypass surgery at Duke University Medical in Durham, a world class medical system. Very fortunate to have been in Raleigh.when problems developed. Back home now and working through a 3 month recovery and rehab.

3. Have not seen any recent posts by Wayne Wilmouth. Is he OK?

Happy listening to all,

Art

Hey, Art

So glad to hear that you were in the right place when that happened and got it attended to!!!!! Keep at the recovery! We retired folks have to stick together. Too much life and music listening left in us. :)

Re Wayne, he's doing fine. He and I communicate via e mail frequently since my visit there. He's just "retired" at least for now from the forum and living a full, active life with family and church.

Can't wait for your next posts re experiments, your new music room!

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the update and reply. Won't be any experiments until I am released to resume normal activities -- at least 3 months. Cannot use my arms to lift or push because of need to heal the chest after it was opened.

Fortunately, my music system is good now with the right adjustments and all controlled by remotes. All music files in a dedicated computer.

I'll be golden unless something fails.

Glad Wayne is well and enjoying well-earned time off.

Best,

Art

Art,

Sorry to hear about your medical tune up, but I'm glad things are going well. I'm looking forward to hearing updates on your system!

I was wondering about Wayne too; he seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. I'm glad to hear he's doing fine too.

Hi Charlie,

Good to hear from you.

"Medical Tuneup"? More like a major overhaul! But, it is behind me now and I am making very slow but steady daily progress. Very limited activities, but I am encouraged to walk around as much as I can.

I'll start cardio rehab next week. That should be interesting since the Mack Truck that hit me is still sitting on me.

Thanks for writing.

Best,

Art
