Long time GE T1 owner. I recently dismantled my GE home theater setup to strictly use my T1's for just music. I'd like to find a nice integrated tube amp to pair it with. 2k to 4k budget.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks!

Hi Matt_Helm, The Triton Ones would work quite well with a integrated tube amplifier. (Since the towers have their own powered subwoofer section, the power from the main integrated amplifier would go a bit further than you might think. This integrated amplifier would really only be powering the midrange and tweeter sections of this tower.)

Prima Luna makes quality tube amplifiers that would work well in this application. If you're open to a hybrid integrated amplifier, Rogue Audio amplifiers would also work well. Happy Listening!

Hi again,

So at the end of the day I purchased a MA252 and even though it's not broken in yet, it sounds MUCH better then the Denon amp it was hooked up to. My Triton One's have new life!

So I did buy some Sat 50's to replace the front left/right that the Triton One's were doing double duty as. I picked up a nice ForceField 40 sub and I'm still using Sat 30's as rear speakers in a 5.1 set up. Is there any info on setting up my Denon AVR-X3700 with the Sub when it comes to Crossover frequencies and if I should tell the Denon i'm using small or large speakers? Should I just run Audyssey?

Thanks!

Hi Matt_Helm, When using the SuperSat 50s with a separate subwoofer, I would recommend setting your receiver to small front speakers (with a crossover frequency of 100hz). I would then set the crossover for the subwoofer in the 80hz - 100hz range. The SuperSat 3s in the rear would work well when set to small (with a crossover frequency of 120hz). Just as out curiosity, you could always run the auto calibration system on your receiver and see what settings it selects as well. Happy Listening!

I forgot to mention that I have a Supercenter XXL.

Crossover at 100hz?

Thank you for your help!
