Hello All (or any), I've just read about GoldenEar in the October issue of HTM, and am excited by the prospect of these speakers.

The timing of their release is impeccable, as I'm starting my search for a new speaker system. I currently run all Paradigms (Phantom 7 v3, matched CC and surrounds). While I've always been very happy with them, it's time for more.

I've narrowed my search down to PSB, DefTech (Mythos ST), and Monitor Audio. But having always been a Paradigm fan, and currently leaning toward DefTech, you can imagine my interest at hearing about the founders of both companies now being involved with GoldenEar. Also, to me, these speakers bear a resemblance in design and aesthetics to the Mythos ST's. Having said that, I welcome any and all advice.

Thanks to this site, I've found a dealer near me and will be hopefully auditioning in the coming weekends. Wish me luck.

Nice to meet everyone (or anyone) - hope this board gets some momentum, as these as beautiful new speakers, deserving of some major attention.
