At the moment I am driving my system with an anthem MCA 50. This has around 180 all channels driven. However I am finding myself listening to more two channel mediums. Does it make any sense to get, for instance, a parasound a21, which is more capable for the front two channels? More capable in wattage, power supply, and capacitance.
Play it loud.

Parasound A21
Parasound A23

The Anthem MCA 50 is great in an HT setup, but for serious 2-channel listening the Parasound A21 would be superior. Keep the Anthem MCA 50 for the center, surrounds, and rears, and use the Parasound A21 for the fronts...this would make for a great sounding system.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Great advice by Anthem. Parasound is a great option. You may also want to check out the new Anthem MCA225. Specs look similar but it is less expensive and may blend better with your MCA50. Just a thought. I'm sure either one would be an improvement.

Cheers,
