I'm going to layout the wiring in my new house and need to nail down speaker locations in the home theater.

Thanks

Hi gang,

I'm not sure where it is either... Multiple centers are tricky and are really only necessary in a LARGE, multi-row theater with tiered seating and a very big screen. And then ONLY if locating the center speaker above or below is the only solution, because otherwise the best implementation in a theater like this is a single adequate center (for your needs) centered at middle row ear level, behind a good acoustically transparent screen like the SI weaves.

If you must do above and below, they need to be centered on the screen and angled up/down toward the middle seats ear height. To prevent significant combing effects, the 16x9 screen should be at least 120" Diag. in order to get the two speakers far enough apart.
