Thanks T Cobe, this is the first time I've gone this high end, but I guess they don't call it Hi-Fi for nothin'

Yes, it was a fair stretch for me, and my dealer makes this a little easier... My only concern is it more than I can handle?
Everyone talk of the 1s as magic, and everything else is just not quite there.... we shall see.

I'm running two T1s with a SuperCenter XL in the middle. These kids were identical triplets at birth, just the two on the ends went to the gym and bulked up. A lot. Having said that, I was very surprised how essentially straight out of the box (and without any receiver EQ or compensation) these speakers act as a team. And my real surprise was how a speaker the size of the SuperCenter XL keeps up with the big brothers without a hint of strain. Definite thumbs up.

Well done Dizzydev,
That is great to hear!!!!
Are you putting together a home theater or surround system? Do you have the rear surrounds yet?
Are you listening mostly to music, or is this mostly for movies? Sorry to be nosy, but we like to hear these things on this forum,
and would like to have more input from you. I like the way you write, good one about the Triton Ones going to the gym!
If you like classical music, may I recommend you try the Living Stereo SACDs that were great performances recorded REALLY well in 3 channels across the front, so when played back on your Triton Ones and SC XL it should be a seamless wall of sound, presenting the whole orchestra in the front of your room.
Anyway, enjoy listening, and keep letting us know how you get on, if you will,
God Bless,
Wayne

The plan is to get to somewhere between a 5.2 and 7.2 surround system, mostly for home theater, but with some audio mixed in. This also probably means I won't be going to the gym as much as the T1s...

Great suggestion on the SACDs. I'm much more familiar with the theater audio aspect from days long ago when I worked as a projectionist (this goes back to when Dolby ProLogic was decoding off of optical tracks on 35mm). I'm finding that technology has moved a lot, not least of which in the pure audio space!
