Product specs at Golden Ear website show speakers rated at 4 ohms. Online sources like Crutchfield say 8 ohms (brx, aon, sats etc). Which is it and does ir matter when setting my AVR choice.?

The specs used to indicate 8, which is not as correct as 4. It varies depending on the frequency but 4 is overall most accurate. If your avr has you making a choice, choose 4.
