I just set up my T1s in anticipation of hooking up the rest of my newly purchased McIntosh tube system (275 amp, C-2600 preamp), Until the carpentry is completed to house the new components, I decided to just hook up the T1s to my old NAD 2100 solid state amp. I've read that the T1's nominal impedance is 8 ohms, but I'm not seeing any sort of switching on the 2100, unlike the 275 which offers 4, 8 and 16 ohm choices. The specs on the 2100 show differences in IHF dynamic power at different impedances, but it doesn't seem to be switchable. My question is: Am I committing any foul by hooking this amp up to these speakers?

Thanks,
Rick
