I just got my Array XL and force field 4 yesterday.
I've been playing with the receiver settings while having followed the instructions.
Turned off Audyssey, crossover at120, and all other enhancement off.
I do have a question about distance setup. Audyssey had the distance set at 10ft originally. I reduced it to 7ft. I'm not sure what to do with this setting. I don't know if they should reflect true distance (tape measure) and if all 3 distances (left/right/center) should be the same?
I also was wondering if I should use mode Pure on my Denon or use a surround sound. I'm just trying to get the best surround effect the way the sounds bar intended.
Thank you in advance.
Guillaume.

Actual distance measured with your tape measure from speaker to ear. L/C/R distances are probably within 1/2 foot. Subwoofer distance the same but may want to add a foot or two to compensate for delay inherent in powered subs. Not sure what Pure mode is and whether that is 2ch only, but you will want to use surround for anything that is not a stereo recording.
