Hello GE community! So I'm toying with the idea of installing some type of temporary Atmos setup because I plan on getting a new receiver/processor in the near future that will be Atmos capable. I currently have T5's, Aon 3's, a SC XL, and two Supersub XXL's. Since we are in a townhouse (which is unusually sound-proof), I'm probably going to avoid going in-ceiling (too much commitment and who knows how long we'll be here). I was thinking of experimenting with some cheap bounce speakers, and I've been intrigued with those SVS elevation speakers. This brought me to an idea. Has anyone used some kind of enclosure for GE Speakers like the HTR 7000's or Invisa 650's even as a temporary solution to hang the speakers to point in the same kind of way that the SVS Elevations do? Here's an example of the Elevations:

The idea would be to slant the GE speakers in a box (or build a box that fits the edge where ceiling meets wall--like the elevations). Anything in principle wrong with the idea?

Haven't tried that but it may work for you. Use an internal volume of .7 cubic foot for the Invisa 650 or 1.0 cubic foot for the HTR-7000, assuming sealed boxes.
