Hi new to the forum,

Just building a music room with Triton Refs. Even though this will be primarily a 2 channel music room. I am also adding the speakers for 7.1.4 system. I have a Super Center XXL and I purchased 4 Invisa MPX's for the surround side and rears. However I have now realized these will not work due to the unique configuration of the room. I no will purchase Supersat 50's for the surround sides and rears.

Question will the Invisa MPX's work for the heights. I ask because they are multi polar.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi, apparently no one has done this so no one is offering up any thoughts. The short answer is that they will work great for height channels. If your ceiling is less than 9-10 feet we generally recommend HTR 7000 (same price, different hole and location) for in-ceiling height channel applications in lower ceilings.

Thanks for the response. Ceiling height is 8'. I have the HTR's in my great room and love them. That was what I intended to use. But I had already bought the MPX's for the side and surrounds and to recess them into the wall will not work so I need surface mount speakers (hence the Supersat 50's) and the MPX's moving to the height channels.

I assume even at 8' they should be great?
Thanks, Mark
