Well Wayne thanks to your great input I have bitten the bullet and ordered the xpa5 amp now! Hopefully it arrives shortly after Xmas while I am on a mini break from work. Fingers crossed it makes a nice improvement to the quality of sound. I also checked and yes my amp is running the t1s at 8ohms so that looks set up properly.

Steveo, Please let us know how it works out for you.
That is exciting for you.
And if you get in trouble with the wife, you can blame me. Ha ha
Happy Listening,

Steveo...congrats to you and the wife...a new baby boy (xpa-5). I see you named him Emotiva. The wife and I named ours ...Zen Torii MK4. Just remember to treat him right and give him plenty of Smooth Jazz...I guarantee you he will give you much enjoyment for many years to come.

Thanks Wayne. My wife is cool with the new purchase. She told me to get it with no guilt games or conditions. She is really fantastic.

Anthem wow! That's a nice looking kid (amp) you got there. Seems to review nicely as well. I am sure jazz sounds beautiful on those tubes. If I ever upgrade to tubes in future I am sure that amp will be at the top on my list. Congratulations to you and your wife :))
