The only thing that sounds exactly like a Triton Two would be another Triton Two. The SC XL is timbre matched, driver matched, and capable of matching the SPL of the Triton Two with appropriate crossover. That's as close as we get to a Triton Two (or any of our other models) in a center channel design. On the systems with SuperCenters I've heard and GoldenEar has demoed, the sound was seamless across the front, which is the goal. I have heard a few Triton Two L/C/R setups too, and while they too sounded amazing in many ways, I wouldn't say the SuperCenter XL systems sounded any less seamless.

Mixing in another brand of center would be guaranteed to be a huge sonic mistake. The differences sonically would be vastly more than the differences between a SuperCenter and a Triton.

Thanks, I will move the super XL to the very front and see if that makes a difference.
If not, I will wait until the triton ones arrive and see how the room sounds with all three golden ears in the front and go from there.
Hopefully the sound will improve.

If you get the Rogue Sphinx and Magnum to listen to please post and let us know your thoughts comparing them. I am considering an integrated Rogue to drive my Triton 3s'.

Have the Spynx in house and it sounds great !! Still awaiting the triton ones, but currently using the Spynx in another system I installed with Magnepans. Best value amp brand I have used thus far in my install business. Liked the amp so much, that I became a dealer for them, please inbox me if you have any questions at all.
