I'm currently enjoying my T2s with a Bryston 4B. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts on how well a McIntosh MC275 would sound in place to the Bryston?

Both are excellent, but different. Probably would want to listen and compare to decide what is best for you.

I'm using my T2's with a pair of McIntosh MC601's. OMG at the detail and the size of the soundstage! Haven't heard them with the 275's though.

Are you using the 8 ohm or the 4 ohm taps to connect the speakers. My Triton ones are connected to the 4 ohm taps on my MC352 because the bass has better control and the sound is cleaner. Just curious.

Thank you,

With my setup and cables the 8 ohm taps produced a noticeably larger sound stage so I decided to stay there. I couldn't hear any difference otherwise. Did you get a chance to compare the Triton 1's and 2's on the same setup? Would be curious as to what they sound like in the same environment and haven't found many reviews out there where someone has compared the two side by side yet.

Thanks

George

Hey George,
I have Triton 2s and 3s and 7s. I am just waiting for some wonderful company to loan me a pair of the Triton Ones so I can do just that for you, compare them side by side.

And, I agree with you, I think the only way to tell between the 8 ohm taps and the 4 ohm taps is to try both and listen. At any reasonable levels you will not do any damage to amp or speakers. IF in doubt, I would go with the 8 ohm taps.
Happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne
