I just got my SuperCenter XL. I'm just wondering if you'd still recommend the 'Small' speaker setting in Audyssey or if you'd suggest using 'Large' which would be the same setting I'm using on the Triton Two.

As per the manual, if you are using a subwoofer in your system (or in this case, two subs in your Tritons set to LARGE), set the center to SMALL. Audyssey will do that automatically anyway when you run it (although we do not recommend using Audyssey, based on the feedback we have received and from our own experiences).

I'm thinking of selling my SS60c and getting one of the SuperCenter speakers. What is the recommended crossover point for each of them?

In a home theater setup with a powered subwoofer we recommend the standard 80 Hz crossover for maximum dynamic range and playing ceiling. In a small room and/or with more modest playback levels either can be crossed over as low as 40 Hz.

Can you direct me to another post that discusses Goldenear's position on Audyssey? I'm surprised to hear that it's not recommended.

I am not the moderator, so, sorry if I fail to mind my own business here.
If you will use the search option, I THINK it will lead you to several threads on this forum where people have had trouble with Audyssey.
Also, if you want, you might read what Kal Rubinson, of Stereophile's column "Music in the Round" on this page:

where he mentions a problem David Rich found with Audyssey implementation degrading Hi-Rez file playback, forcing a down-sample to 24/48 and now your Hi Rez is gone. Mr Rich talks about this on Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity, which I am searching to read more about it myself.
I do use Audyssey right now for my odd listening room. I have a left speaker near a left wall, and a right speaker and subwoofer on the other side with no wall at all, a whole nuther room over there.
But I am building a home theater and it will have symmetrical walls and I do not intend to use Audyssey at all if I can help it.
I guess the best thing would be to let your ears tell you what sounds the best to you.
I just always follow the "less is better" approach if I can.
